QUALIFICATIONS :
ME or MTech in Mechanical Engineering / Machine Design
EXPERIENCE :
2 to 3 Years
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Create mathematical models of the vehicle systems and simulate Crash test using Madymo and Dyna.
Recomemend design modification to improve occupant performance in front and side impact tests with minimum cost.
Interface with Safety, Testing, Design and CAE Groups to incorporate design in vehicle and achieve > 80% test correlation.
To publish papers in reputed journals and file patents for innovative work.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS :
Knowledge of CAE Software like Hypermesh, Primer, LS-Dyna, Madymo & Hyperstudy.
Knowledge of Finite Element Method.
Knowledge of buiding full vehicle FE-model and submodel for occupant analysis.
Knowledge of restraint design & modelling.
Knowledge of Material Properties, Stiffnesses.
Knowledge of Occupant analysis Trends .
Knowledge of Automotive Systems.
Knowledge of Crash Regulations and NCAP.
Knowledge of Crash CAE to Test Correlation.
Knowledge of vehicle systems. \Knowledge of Occupant Behaviour.
Knowledge of occupant related failure Mechanism
Knowledge of competitor vehicle restraint design .
Knowledge of Vehicle Manufacturing techniques.
Knowledge of Technical Documentation Knowledge of Communication , negotiation , interpersonal relationships, Motivation
Knowledge of Crash testing methods and Crash measuring instruments Knowledge of new emerging trend in occupant simulation and vehicle designs
