Open the Catia V5 application. The assembly workbench is opened it is default. Close the assembly workbench and Go to START--->MECHANICAL DESIGN---->PART DESIGN, Now enter the part name what you want and click the enable hybrid design checkbox and ok.
Select YZ plane in the specification tree and then choose sketch tool from the sketcher toolbar.
Select profile tool from profile toolbar and draw as shown in fig. and constarin this using constrain tool.
Now select edit multi constraint tool and enter the given dimensions in the drawing.
Now click exit workbench, part design workbench is invoked.
Click shaft tool from the sketch based feature toolbar. The shaft tool dialog box is shown in fig. select vertical direction in the axis selection and click ok.
Select top face of the model and click sketch, sketcher workbench is invoked. Pick circle tool from the profile toolbar and draw as shown in fig. and constraint this.
Now click exit workbench, select pad tool and enter 60mm in the length spinner and click ok.
The final model is shown in fig.
